We can compare this with the last election of a government in an illusory democracy where hundreds, mostly of elderly citizens, are arrested and charged under a 'terrorism' heading for displaying 'We oppose genocide and support Palestine Action' as do I - a law abiding and conscientious British citizen

The presenter said this was the fourth day in celebration of Hannukah, an eight day festival. She referred to the massacre in Australia on Sunday.  The reporter joined 150 people in Plymouth centre and spoke of a sombre atmosphere. Three people were interviewed, the second being Rabbi Singer from Bristol Chabad.
This BBC online report contains the contributions from the rabbi and from Mr Tom Godwin. The latter said "I think that's quintessentially why we felt it important to launch the CIC on this day." That is the Plymouth Jewish Community CIC - Community Interest Company.  The report continues -

In the aftermath of Sunday's shooting attack at Bondi beach, Mr Godwin added that the Jewish community in the city were "rightly very nervous, but not surprised. We've spent another Jewish holiday dealing with the aftermath of a horrific murder of innocent Jews," he said. "There is something about the resolve of people who came out tonight. I write in my 86th year, a citizen of Britain born 14-04-1940 - six months before my father's electronic business in Southampton was blown up by one of 4000 bombs dropped in two blitzs by fascists on Southampton in September 1940. The 40,000 incendiary bombs ensured that the glow of this burning port town where Hurricane fighters were being put together could be seen from Cherbourg 40 miles away. Just as the shock waves caused by JDAMS in the carpet bombing, killing and shredding on Gaza are picked up by earthquake censors in 'Israel' and in the Middle East.

I request an interview with you. I speak for the 100,000 + assassinated in Gaza, the 160,000 who have been severely injured - including hundreds of children with absent limbs.
