This has just been received this afternoon on the 30th of July 2025 AD - from Mahmoud Baroud PhD Exeter - husband of Mona, and father of six children.  Gaza 30-07-2025

Killing and bombing are still ongoing. There is now widespread starvation and hunger everywhere. We are unable to move or walk because of a lack of food, especially flour.

Thieves steal food aid and sell this at astronomic prices, money dealers take a 45% commission to get shekels. These are indeed the most difficult times due to genocide, and famine. We dream night and day how to secure a little food to survive and remain alive in this unjust world.

My first plea to you regarding the holocaust in Gaza, grafted on to a 77 yr long genocide, was on the 28th of May. If you had acted with solidity and necessary moral courage, with all law on your side, you would have likely stopped the maiming and killing in Palestine, Gaza especially, and the assaults on sovereign Iran. But you have not, and Nuremberg 2 will happen and you be held accountable given your very high office.

This is Day 618 of accelerating genocide. The empire tries to march on making wars and engaging in extermination (population in Gaza dropped from 2.3 to 1.85 million in 20 months) while facing some resistance. The Empire relies on hegemony in economic power, on subservient media, on expanding racism that dehumanizes non-whites and non-Jews, on deadly weapons, on industrial dominance, and on control of mainstream media and attempts to control academic discourse (the freedoms in universities are being quelled!). The psychological and propaganda warfare is becoming more strident.
