My first plea to you regarding the holocaust in Gaza, grafted on to a 77 yr long genocide, was on the 28th of May. If you had acted with solidity and necessary moral courage, with all law on your side, you would have likely stopped the maiming and killing in Palestine, Gaza especially, and the assaults on sovereign Iran. But you have not, and Nuremberg 2 will happen and you be held accountable given your very high office.

There have been no replies either from Lord Hermer, nor the Inquest Team with whom I had been in courteous correspondence in a plea - again in respect of our laws, for an inquest into the unnatural death of David Kelly CMG DSc 17/18-07-2003. Baroness Smith of Cluny, Advocate General for Scotland is now added for her responsibility within both national and international law.

As the foremost law officers in the isles, including Northern Ireland, your responsibility and need for urgent reaction has never been greater. My first visit was with the Voyage of the Dove and the Dolphin. This set off from Haldon Pier in Torbay 1-02-2003. I recall that you urged the 'Labour' party, which you lead, to vote against the motion put forward by the Scottish National Party in November 2023 pleading for a ceasefire agreement for Gaza. In fact the motion showed gross bias - for instance in not recognising that Hamas is a political party that obtained 46% of the popular vote in a turnout of over 70%, and with wide international scrutiny concluding that the mechanisms were scrupulous. Also that Hamas embraces resistance forces as allowed under international law, this being a natural and lawful reaction within a populace that has lived under a medieval siege in the world's largest concentration camp for decades. Further, that the people - now or previously about 2.2 million in number, have been subject to continuous military attacks for decades, with convulsions of bombing, 'missiling' and shelling as in Operation Cast Lead/Dreidel at Christmas 2008. Military action against a military occupation is fully justified in international law just as it was in Vichy France, under the blitzkreig of the Nazi Barbarossa Campaign in the occupied Russian lands etc etc

That this House believes that only a two-state solution can deliver the security which both Palestinians and Israelis deserve; further believes that Hamas cannot be allowed to continue in charge of Gaza; condemns the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas in Israel on 7 October 2023; deplores the violence in the weeks since; notes with horror the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, affecting millions of innocent Palestinian civilians, the ongoing hostage situation and the risk of regional escalation; notes that it is increasingly clear there will be no military solution that will eliminate Hamas and that movement towards a political solution is needed; accordingly urges the Government to call for an immediate bilateral ceasefire to provide space to achieve that political solution; further notes that such a ceasefire would be contingent on both parties sticking to it and that if one party breaks the ceasefire, a military option remains on the table; believes that this is not an end goal but a step towards peace; disagrees with those who advocate freezing the conflict, which leaves Hamas in charge of Gaza and does not look to the future; and notes that an immediate bilateral ceasefire would provide time to facilitate the delivery of aid into Gaza, facilitate the release of the hostages and provide space to intensify diplomacy towards delivering a political solution with Hamas out of Gaza, two states and a lasting peace.

Irony died a long time ago, and truth is very hard to find in the megawattage of the BBC. The lies are infinite in number, and the millions of lives lost in its warmongering never named. The BBC coat of arms features a lion, a thunderbolt, two eagles and a globe, and the motto "Nation shall speak peace unto nation". The motto is based on biblical verses and reflects the BBC's public service and international scope.

The coat of arms of the BBC was adopted in March 1927 to represent the purpose and values of the corporation. It is seldom used nowadays except for ceremonial purposes.

The various elements of the coat of arms were chosen to provide a heraldic translation of the qualities of the BBC.

  • Lion — the crest of the coat of arms has a lion above the helmet. The lion is the national animal of the UK and indicates the BBC's British identity.
  • Thunderbolt — The lion grasps a thunderbolt in its outstretched paw, this to represent broadcasting itself (transmission).
  • Eagles — In heraldic language the two eagles which grasp the shield are "supporters". Eagles were chosen to depict the inherent speed of broadcasting. Both eagles have bugles suspended from their collars, representing "proclamation", i.e. the public service element of broadcasting.
  • Motto — The coat of arms features the BBC motto, "Nation shall speak peace unto Nation"
