I have written to you and Mr Hancock previously attempting to tell you that there is very little in your ‘policies’ that has a basis in medical science. Other well qualified people have done the same.
You have ignored that advice whilst your draconian attempt to ‘control the virus’ has wreaked havoc on millions in the UK and seen the national debt climb from £2.2 trillion to over 2.8 in 9 months – now exceeding the GNP.
The regional propagandare neroservice continued its C19 output in the service of your mendacious and very corrupt government this last Friday. The so called ‘health correspondent’ Ms Jenny Walrond, with I recall her degree in English, did as she is instructed by continuing to generate fear by reciting cases of ‘infection’ with this virus in conflation with the ‘toss a coin’ RTPCR ‘test’. She also spoke of deaths ‘with covid’.
These are two brief case reports that have come to me since I wrote to Spotlight and the leader of our local councillor in the evening of the 27thof November.
80+ male who had a very active life - THR 2 months ago. Previous serious illness but mind alert and will strong. Haemorrhage. Transfused 2 pints. Some renal failure - ?acute tubular necrosis with incomplete recovery. (My questioned diagnosis.) Faltering recovery >home. A sham of ‘care at home’. All depended on a good wife, a bright family and paid care. Hyponatraemia – low sodium due to renal failure. Urinary infection – a rather resistant ‘hospital’ bacterium. Back into hospital for 2 days re Na.
2 days after return home - message from the RD&E to say a fellow patient was C19 +ve. Couple to self-isolate for 2 weeks. No visits from family. GP was in contact > he ‘self-isolated’. C19 test of index patient +ve I believe. Increasing weakness, falls by bed, paramedics X3, last with full ‘protective gear’.
Back into hospital 2 days ago. Last message 12 hours ago - ‘felt weak’ and was not ‘fully with it.’
Nota bene.Message yesterday saying that the ‘RD&E’ wished to transfer him the Exeter ‘Nightingale’ Unit <https://nightingale-exeter.nhs.uk/> this in a former B&Q in an insustrial estate. (?Permanent mortuary at Greenway in East Devon) This patient refused. His condition requires the best of medical and nusing care in a DGH.Note – out of C19 quarantine period. Had a cough, and one record of fever, but has had occasional high temperatures over recent years.
Yesterday – Sunday – this story. A lady died of ‘bone cancer’ in the ? RD&E. I assume that she had secondary cancer in her bone marrow, and statistically - from carcinoma of the breast. But the person retailing the message added in capitals, and with the common gullibility - ‘WITH COVID’. I assume the dying patient had the C10 RTPCR test come heads up - +ve.
Question for you Prime Minister, and Health Secretary. Why was this patient, if this was true, being advised that transfer to the Exeter ‘Nightingale’ was being advised?
Second – please remove the title ‘Nightingale’ from your propaganda. This nurse, of the greatest humanity, saved soldiers in another pointless war, from the negligence of medical officers and the High Command at Scotari with logic and loving care. She went on to found a nursing school, and was the origin of the district nursing service in these islands. It is typical of your breed, of Mr Cummings, and the Behavioural Insights Team of Dr David Halpern, that you traduce the name of this lady.
Third – call off your thugs in the Metropolitan Police ‘Service’.
I have not had the permission of the family to record my understanding of the 80+ patient, but I do so urgently for the greatest public interest and in good faith – as a retired doctor first, and secondly as an orthopaedic and trauma surgeon.
