The presenter said this was the fourth day in celebration of Hannukah, an eight day festival. She referred to the massacre in Australia on Sunday. The reporter joined 150 people in Plymouth centre and spoke of a sombre atmosphere. Three people were interviewed, the second being Rabbi Singer from Bristol Chabad.

At no time was any reference made to the current holocaust in Gaza started 10-10-2023, and grafted as I say to a 77 year long genocide. When Rabbi Singer speaks of "the victory of light over darkness in the face of evil and hatred" he must join Mahmoud, his wife Mona and family around a makeshift tent and a fire of waste wood in Deir Al Balah whilst they think of making good two rooms in their bombed apartment building in Gaza city.
