Sir Keir,
I recall that you urged the 'Labour' party, which you lead, to vote against the motion put forward by the Scottish National Party in November 2023 pleading for a ceasefire agreement for Gaza. In fact the motion showed gross bias - for instance in not recognising that Hamas is a political party that obtained 46% of the popular vote in a turnout of over 70%, and with wide international scrutiny concluding that the mechanisms were scrupulous. Also that Hamas embraces resistance forces as allowed under international law, this being a natural and lawful reaction within a populace that has lived under a medieval siege in the world's largest concentration camp for decades. Further, that the people - now or previously about 2.2 million in number, have been subject to continuous military attacks for decades, with convulsions of bombing, 'missiling' and shelling as in Operation Cast Lead/Dreidel at Christmas 2008. Military action against a military occupation is fully justified in international law just as it was in Vichy France, under the blitzkreig of the Nazi Barbarossa Campaign in the occupied Russian lands etc etc
The motion, later amended reads -
That this House believes that only a two-state solution can deliver the security which both Palestinians and Israelis deserve; further believes that Hamas cannot be allowed to continue in charge of Gaza; condemns the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas in Israel on 7 October 2023; deplores the violence in the weeks since; notes with horror the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, affecting millions of innocent Palestinian civilians, the ongoing hostage situation and the risk of regional escalation; notes that it is increasingly clear there will be no military solution that will eliminate Hamas and that movement towards a political solution is needed; accordingly urges the Government to call for an immediate bilateral ceasefire to provide space to achieve that political solution; further notes that such a ceasefire would be contingent on both parties sticking to it and that if one party breaks the ceasefire, a military option remains on the table; believes that this is not an end goal but a step towards peace; disagrees with those who advocate freezing the conflict, which leaves Hamas in charge of Gaza and does not look to the future; and notes that an immediate bilateral ceasefire would provide time to facilitate the delivery of aid into Gaza, facilitate the release of the hostages and provide space to intensify diplomacy towards delivering a political solution with Hamas out of Gaza, two states and a lasting peace.
This reports the voting via https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/how-my-mp-voted-ceasefire-gaza-b2448968.html
MPs voted 293 to 125, majority 168, to reject the SNP’s King’s Speech amendment calling for “all parties to agree to an immediate ceasefire” in Gaza. Below is a breakdown of how they voted.
A total of 56 Labour MPs voted for a ceasefire in Gaza as party leader Keir Starmer was hit by a major rebellion over his position on the war.
After this vote the BBC Online quotes as you, the Prime Minister, as saying this -
He said Israel had suffered"its worst terrorist attack in a single day"at the hands of Hamas on 7 October.
"No government would allow the capability and intent to repeat such an attack to go unchallenged," he added.
I have called the carpet bombing of this most densely populated strip of land as an holocaust. That is the killing and shredding of thousands of fellow humans - mostly women and their dear children, their starvation and deliberate denial of good water, the killing of hundreds of doctors, paramedics, journalists, the deliberate destruction of almost all hospitals, schools, places of worship etc as an holocaust - grafted on to a genocide which started in a continuous blood bath seventy six years ago. And with all forward planning. For instance, as recorded in Professor Ilan Pappe's 'The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine'.
The Nuremberg trials brought Nazi war criminals to the bar, although many were preserved for the illusory democracies as with Von Braun to the US and NASA. (V2 rockets targeted and terrorised civilians). The same 'democracies' turned blind eyes to the terrible holocausts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Laws were written and signed by nations such as the Genocide Convention and the Charter of the United Nations, with Britain often in the lead. International law has been shredded continuously since then and often with the connivance of the UN and its 'Security Council'.
This report, conveyed by the Palestine Chronicle, came to me last night -
https://www.palestinechronicle.com/euro-med-israeli-attack-on-gaza-home-massacred-90-civilians-with-no-justification/
Its title - Euro-Med: Israeli Attack on Gaza Home Massacred 90 Civilians with No Justification.
An Israeli airstrike on the Juha family home in Gaza killed 90 civilians, including 71 women and children.
Watch this with your cabinet, - from the article -https://youtu.be/NKolCCR-4l4 This bombing, with likely added incendiary material, killed three quarters of an extended family, representing about 1% of those killed in Gaza. About 30 of the Juha family are putrefying under the rubble and yet to be identified and laid to rest. The rescue workers were collecting pieces of bodies in flour sacks in the aftermath.
And read this by Jonathan Cook - https://jonathancook.substack.com/p/netanyahu-only-ever-saw-the-hostages?publication_id=476450&post_id=157961173&isFreemail=true&r=11xzpn&triedRedirect=true
You Prime Minister is featured - in video and at the end. I quote the penultimate sentence -
"That is an argument that should resonate only with psychopaths. And yet our broadcasters accept it unquestioningly, as does the government of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer".
You will know that many hundreds of children have undergone amputations of their limbs with no anaesthesia? My fellow surgeons have wept as they cut and ligated.
All this killing and maiming - minds and bodies, must stop. That will only happen when criminals such as you are brought to account in Nuremberg 2.
Meanwhile resign, along with your high command.
